SEND MATCH INVITATION GUIDE
To invite another player to a match in PK BET you must use the private table/challenge feature located in game lobby. There’s nothing complex about this at all. Just know where to look.
I will only be using one game for this guide to keep things simple and straightforward. We will be covering Tongits because that is where most players have questions regarding match invites.
Do NOT join the random quick match table. Look for the words “Create Table,” “Private Room,” or “Challenge”. The name may change after updates but you will always find it in Tongits lobby.
After you select Create Table, you will then be able to select your desired stake level. .
Select your stake amount and confirm the room. You will then be presented with a room ID or shareable link. Share that room ID with your friend via chat. Some players will copy and paste the invite to Messenger. Others will share it using the in-app friend chat if that option exists.
Your friend will then open PK BET > Tongits > Join Room and paste the room ID. That’s pretty much it. Once you’re both inside that private table, you can begin the match.
To be honest that is how easy it really is. Now I want to explain some common problems players might experience when trying to do this.
Players will randomly join a Quick Play table instead of creating their own private table. Quick Play automatically pits you against random opponents. There is no matchmaking feature to automatically join friends in Quick Play. If you want to select who joins your table, create a private table.
Create your table and immediately message your friend. Don’t sit there and read Reddit for ten minutes.
Alright now let’s cover some match-related questions with Tongits on PK BET.
PK BET | TONGITS MATCH INVITATION FAQ
Can I host a private match with custom rules in Tongits?
Sort of. Unless explicitly stated by the platform you’re using, the rule format should mimic whatever the default setting is for that online site. You can edit the stake level for sure, but you’re usually unable to change draw limits, scoring format, or other vital rules. That ensures all players have a consistent experience. If you want custom house rules for Tongits, play it with friends offline.
My friend can’t join my room. What do we do? We both have the same room ID.
Triple check these three things. One: Does your friend have the correct stake requirement? Two: Is the room already in progress? Three: Is the room full? Most Tongits tables will require three players to start. If two seats are taken and one random player has been bumped into the table, your friend will not be able to join.
Can I match invite someone from a different country?
Yes, of course you can. As long as PK BET is accessible to both players and hasn’t been region blocked in either of your locations you should be fine. However if either of you have bad internet connections it may cause issues with gameplay. Bad connection = laggy game = terrible experience.
What if my opponent disconnects from the internet during game?
If someone disconnects, they will usually have a few minutes to reconnect to the game. If that player doesn’t come back, your online match will either auto and/or give the player who remained the win. This is why you should always make sure you and your opponent have good internet before creating that challenge.
Can I cancel the match invitation?
If nobody has joined the room yet and it has not officially started, you should be able to back out and close that match room. However if the match has already started you better not leave. Leaving a match mid-game usually results in penalties of some sort depending on the site’s rules. So wait for your opponent to accept and join before accepting yourself.
Listen, inviting a friend to play Tongits or any other matches really does change the experience. Competitive pressure feels different against someone you know. Making jokes during play feels different. Even sitting in silence during card draws feels more intense.
But hear me out when I cover this next part. ANY match with friends can turn serious if real money is on the line. Play for laughs? Rematch? Figure that stuff out first. This prevents any unnecessary drama.
I’ve watched friendships divide over petty disagreements during friendly matches. Person A thought they were playing casual, person B thought it was tournament style. Now there’s bad blood. Talk it out THEN create the table.
Also keep your bankroll in mind. Don’t go create some crazy high stakes private table to look cool in front of someone. That’s stupid. You lose and you’ll regret it. Play at a stake amount you are comfortable with losing.
PK BET’s private match / challenge feature is great when used correctly. You have control over who you invite. You have control of when you start. That is the beauty of creating your own matches.
TLDR; Tongits > Create Private Table > Set Stake > Send Room ID > Wait for opponent > Start. Simple. Easy. 🥳
And one last thing. A match invite is an invitation. Keep it friendly. Keep it fair. Then enjoy your game.
